ICE attacks in communities throughout Minnesota have forced many immigrant families into hiding! Through 287(g) agreements between local law inforcement and ICE officials, we have seen a constant drumbeat of arrests, detention and deportations.  Immigrant families and businesses are devastated. Though the ICE SURGE has lessened, the fear and trauma continue in our community.

MIRAC is fund-raising to support our immigrant communities throughout the state during this time of fear and intimidation from federal officials.  We are also fund-raising to support families who have one member in ICE detention.  We are leading a movement to say No More Deportations and to say No More Collaboration between local public safety officials and federal ICE officers.  To sign our petition demanding that Governor Walz make MN is a true sanctuary state through executive order, go to tinyurl.com/SanctuaryStateMN

MIRAC is an all-volunteer grassroots organization that has mobilized and educated the immigrant community and their allies since 2006. We believe that no one is illegal and center our work under this belief. We are led by predominantly BIPOC and immigrant community members. For over 20 years, MIRAC has mobilized community members to take action through community education, protests, marches, and demonstrations.
